When I tell people I don’t vote, I am generally ridiculed, and told how un-American I am. Of course my first thought is “American”/ When did America become a country? But then I am told how I can’t bitch and have no right to complain…blah blah blah blah blah….. I say this - You Hypocrite, just as it is my right as a US citizen to vote, it is also quite equally my right not to vote. Sometimes not voting is much more powerful of a statement then voting… In fact I would like to spread my Discontent and ask all those that read this to not Vote - and convince all those you know not too vote. And this is why?
First Some Facts:
Presidential Election 2004:
1. Exit polls predicted John Kerry winning the popular vote by 5 million
2. Official results gave George W. Bush the win with a popular margin of 3 million
There was an 8 million vote (6.5%) discrepancy between the official results and the exit poll predictions.
Take note — Historically exit Polls have maintained an accuracy level of .03 % - .07 %
Clearly 6.5% is alarmingly out of whack.
But wait there was a brilliant explanation for these discrepancies - Quoted from the Edison/Mitofsky firm (organization in charge of running the exit polls)
“Kerry voters were more likely to participate in the exit polls than Bush voters.’ In fact, data included within the report suggest that the opposite might be true.” Of course they have absolutely no proof to support there ridiculous claim and as best I can tell just made it up.
The Government has not only grossly frauded our great country of its most proud history, but what’s worse is that we the silent are Harboring this Worlds greatest Terrorist.
There is nothing that would make me happier than for someone to prove, or otherwise convince me that these facts are explainable, and that in fact the election was fair. So I challenge anyone that wishes to blast me as someone who does not love my country, to first add there name to the blank, and ask if you live up those words.
