Ban rock concerts and football games?

crankyface.jpg Republican legislator Clel Baudler from Des Moines (Iowa) said and I quote:
“We could simplify law enforcement’s job if we didn’t have rock concerts. We could simplify their job a lot quicker if we just didn’t have football games there where we arrest hundreds of drunks over the weekend.”

I think that’s not a bad idea. Even better. We could simply invoke marshal law again and there wouldn’t be anyone to arrest after lets say 7PM (time for cartoons yeey)

Or, even better. We could simplify law enforcement job if there were no people at all in Iowa.

Just police officers playing cards and eating doughnuts, but then again you would have competition between who’s going to eat more doughnuts and who’s going to take longer nap, and then you would have cops arresting cops, thus creating more problems. So we are back where we started.

So lets think about this for a minute and try to find the most humane solution.

So I think better solution is just to replace people like Mr. Baudler with someone hmmm what’s the word I am looking for, MORE HUMAN!

Hell, in Texas some moron republican state legislator proposed a ban on lewd and suggestive movements by high school cheerleaders. The outcome - it passed.

On the cops arresting cops, there’s plenty of criminal activity by cops to keep them busy for a long time.

Now ,how can you not be cranky when you hear something like that.
I think we should have our cheerleders wear vails and babushkas. Taliban rings a bell?

I’m certain he was being ironic. (At leat I hope). Its kind of like when you here people say “if we locked up all 18-35 year old men, we would reduce crime by 90%.” Its not a serious proposal, but a stating the existence of certain regularities.

    So was I.

looking up 18-35 year old is not a bad idea, but lets just wait another 6 years.
