Saw (The Movie) Review

crankyface.jpgEven though this movie is two years old I have to get my steam out.
Friend and I went to see it at the time it came out. Previews looked pretty good.
30 minutes into the movie friend of mine wanted his money back. I pursued him to stay little longer hoping the movie will get better, but it didn’t. It got really bad.

Come on… Acting was (what’s the word I am looking for?) BAD! Dialogue was pathetic and I just wanted to strangle Cary Elwes. Otherwise not a bad actor. (See Kiss the Girls)
Cary (Dr. Lawrence Gordon in the movie) is chained to his leg with 4 inch thick chain to the big metal pipe, locked down in the basement and he is yelling to a guy: “if you hurt my wife I will kill you!!!”
You will kill him? Wow! If I was a bad guy I would release his wife same instance after hearing a threat like that, and that was the bet part of the movie!
Danny Glover plays a role that chipmunk would be able to play. I can’t believe that he put his name on something horrible like Saw.
I don’t regret my $7.50, but I do regret persuading my friend to stay and not listening to his instincts. We should’ve walked out in the first 30 minutes of the movie, but we didn’t. We had hopes for Christ sakes! And it’s my fault.
Now, lot of people are saying that Saw II is much better, but there is no way in hell that I am spending any more money and time on that crap.
Rating: 1 out 10 starts.
1 for not bad camera shots
